Rithala To Dilshad Garden
This blog is dedicated to Delhi Metro which makes me reach home every evening or whenever I want to(except early morning or late night).
21 stations ,47 mins and unlimited fun-------This is what Delhi Metro offers you daily...
Since Rithala is the first station from that side,I get a completely empty metro and easily get my seat. As the metro proceeds and reaches Pitamoura(4th station).the metro is full with all people standing.Here starts the real fun....Now we are youngsters so we don't need seats that's what most people have in mind (as is we have 100% battery always,anyone tell them that even if you haven't have done anything the whole day even then we need seats....ha ha ha.)so all aunties,old people travel the complete metro just to find guys like us and when they succeed they'll come and stand in front of us..yes!!they will just stand and won't tell you anything apart from constant staring...If you are decent empty the seat before anyone tells you to do so(as i do. as i don't want any humiliation in metro....).Now as you rise they'll say "arre!! betaji aap baitho,khade kyon ho rahe ho" and then they'll just sit...So I'm standing now and it's just the 5th station and forget any chance of getting seats now...So now i can see lots of my age fellows standing,looking for seats(an almost impossibility)some get seated on the floors while some who are sitting on their seats resist any eye contacts with aunties and old people in order to prevent their going seats,even better some put earphones so as to avoid any conversations and i tell you the songs are played at such a volume that even the people around can tell which song is on the list.....Another mast fact,at times some villager type people enters and talk to each other as if they are at a compartment distance..really nice talks and enjoyable time as far as you are not the victim....At times i also find some verbal fights going on,bada maza ata haipar jaldi khatam ho jata hai...Okay!! so now we have reached Kashmere Gate(13th station),here people change the metro line so a lot of crowd leaves but around the same enters too(if you are lucky you will get a seat, you are very lucky if you can sustain it..)Next 8 stations is my destination..The metro travels and i indulge in identifying the areas i have been to before....Shahdara metro station has got some past memories.......but that's a different story.....At times some farter's also board the metro and leave their effects there,and then i am like"arre jaldi chalao aur ye metro ke saare gate kholo!! bardasht nahi ho pa raha!!!.And finally i reach my destination Dilshad Garden metro station..As the gates open you'll find people running so as to reach downstairs to place their smart cards on the AFC's,some use stairs while a lot use lift..what to say delhiites are crazy about lifts.....
Now the on foot journey from Dilshad Garden metro station to Dilshad Colony(my home) is a different story................!!!!!
